The George Floyd verdict is in! We now have an obligation to see that no justice anywhere is injustice everywhere.

Please keep the George Floyd verdict in perspective. This should be standard practice for anyone that commits a crime such as this. However, there is more work to do. In the meantime you have various state legislatures seeking to disenfranchise people of color from their voting rights. All because democracy worked.

There are also states like Florida that proposed and passed legislation called Anti Riot legislation that would make the average protestor vulnerable to violence. However, nothing is being done about the insurrection of Jan. 6.

Stay focused and not allow this verdict to allow you to relax for one minute.
