The Essence of Coaching

 Coaching isn't always about X's and O's. If you can't sense the mindset of your players and tap into what inspires and motivates them then you are in the wrong profession.

Building relationships and being vulnerable to your players so they can see themselves in you is not only coaching, it's one of the most intimate parts of leadership.

A "Boss" will bark out orders. A leader will encourage, motive, inspire, and build up those they are charged with managing. Be that leader you would follow.
